California's Central Coast Amid The Insanity
After three or four days, whatever song it happens to be that continually runs through my head can become annoying, assuming it's even a song I like. The last two weeks, it's been a stupid Eagles song that I never liked, to begin with, and trying to replace it with a favorite song has not worked. Now that the gov has ordered us to hibernate I don't have those outside distractions to over-distract the annoying song. Wonder if it'd help to walk round the house with those thingies stuck in my ears while listening to Pandora.

Today I want to clean the grill, load some more .45-70s, then probably wait for boredom to take over. Maybe I'll see if the panic has hit the gas stations, because I'm thinking of filling one or two 5-gallon cans and draining them into the motorhome . . . much easier to do it that way than drive it to the gas station.

The V. A. audiology department called, as promised, and the doc said appointment scheduling should start May 16, that it's been two years since my last full exam, and I'm due to get updated to the latest in aids.

I've had Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" stuck in my head for two days. Even at night when I wake up.
Before that it was The Good, The Bad and The Ugly's theme song.
I feel your pain 462!
We've had 8" of rain in the last 6 days.
If the sun don't shine, neither do I!

Took the Little lady to the range around noon today..... She had a good time shooting her S&W Model 32-1 ( .38 S&W)
She shot 90 or so rounds. Light practice rounds but we both decide to move bullet weight up a bit more to her CC load.
Shot on our range's 10 yard line because it was busy.
I like to get her at 5 to 6 yards for CC practice ( but can only do that if we are the only ones shooting since we have to go beyond the bench area)
She shot well but she was a bit discouraged with this weeks groups! ( last week she shot a 5 shot 1 inch group ...double action which would put me to shame,,,,I can't shoot a revolver double action)
Came back cleaned the guns and PC coated some bullets for her next time out!
Hit 70 degrees here today but tomorrow the highs will only be 40!

Just found out we will not be closing down.:) We supply aluminum alloy for the Masks that are being made. We are already fitted for the alloy making, in the size ingot and sows they need. Plus we make an aluminum cone that is used as an antioxidant in the steel industry, which will be needed.
What a relief.
Well got to get off here and get to work.

Called the LGS for 2400, had 3 # left. Stood inline for 20min, limit one # and I get the last one. Wow. No pistol ammo left there, 9, 40,40,357,38, etc.

Not leaving the property ! Since Monday Peru is on Mandatory "stay home" or visit the local jail.
There are reasons to be at the doctor, hospital, pharmacy, or food store but ya better be headed there or back home. The Army has the major road intersections blocked. So until the 30th we are home bound.
Well over 100 people here in our town are visitors of the guberment penal system for being out and for no good reason.

Can't recall if I mentioned it here, or only to my wife, but I truly believe there are several not-to-be-named governors rubbing their hands in delight just waiting for the moment to arrive when they will declare martial law and call out their National Guard troops.

at least you got it.
I was sitting here going,,, that's the worst spelling of quarantine Brad's phone could come up with?

I'm down to one more folding trellis to paint, the glue is still drying from the little repair a I had to do and I'm down to just enough [free pink/violet] paint to get it and possibly one more done,
so I'm hoping there ain't anymore buried under the 18"s of snow still on the south side of the garden.

I had a heck of a time keeping my IPad from autocorrecting to the correct spelling. For once.

Not sure a Gov can declare martial law. But, IF they do, all that has to happen is for Pres to nationalize them, and Gov no longer controls them! Pres does. (and this is KEY regarding state red flag laws, btw!!!!!!!!!!!)
