Looking like we’ll be staying here a while longer. Mrs. smokeywolf’s heart has gone back into atrial fibrillation again a couple of times this morning.
I've been in full-time A-Fib for over ten years now, some people (like me) tolerate it pretty well, some don't. It took a bit of time for the Doctors to realize that all their meds did for me was cause other issues. Now I get loosely monitored, and they pretty much let me be. My point is that it can be managed, but physical activity may need to be limited at times. Please pass on my best wishes to her.

Tell her to keep her chin up Smokey. A good mindset helps.

Josh,
We call those “smart pills” here. Just one taste and you figure it all out!

Lamar,
He’s having a shoulder mount done. I called my buddy who is a recently retired taxidermist for him. He wanted to make sure the split ear remains when the mount is done. The rack is six miles north of me now so I’ll stop and look it over soon as I can. My son guessed the deers weight at around 225 hanging.

Had my ablation done after 2 severe Afib episodes. Biggest problem is clots and weakened heart muscles. Sometimes it is very temporary for some people, others it is nasty. The defib is to stop the heart, pacer sets rhythm/min. rate. Hope all goes well. Was over for burgers at friend's house couple months ago, he was concerned about leg clots. Turns out his prostrate cancer came back with a vengeance. She got a text yesterday, he is in hospice. Blind gal friend who just got most of her gut removed called last nite - Tues is hernia repair surgery. Bro emailed Fri, his first chemo went well.

Well my worst doody procreation by kings order looks rather insignificant at this point despite it's potential for poor results .

My Dad always said that if you had the good fortune to get old you would pay for it by saying good bye all of your elders and friends . I always said , well thats pretty unfair but I guess being a first mate is better than being the captain or the first one out .

Prayers for those in need ....

I haven't handled any 22 cal bullets in quite a while.
In the Summer of 2017, I bought a NOE 225-37-FN mold for my Hornet.
I used it one casting session and made about 150 of 'em, with a alloy that I was told was WW.
I labeled a jar and on the self they sat ...until today.

I really do, like to use the old Number One for 22
Bubba Ideal one Nov 15 2020 450px.jpg

Sizing with Number One NOE 225 37 FN Nov 15 2020 500px.jpg

This alloy is quite Hard (16.6 Bhn), sized the .227 down to .225 and put on a
copper GC, which wasn't seemingly taxing on the old Number One.

I looked up the notes from another bullet batch cast with the same batch of ingots
(came from an old guy I know, who is a regular at my local gunshow, who told me it's WW.)
Anyway, this other batch was MP's 30 SIL...Air dropped.
Hardness was 16 after 24 hours.
Then hardness increased to 18 after 4 weeks.
then back down to 16.6 after a year.
So, I have no idea what the alloy could be...I still got about 30 lbs of these ingots.
I mention all this, because I suspect someone here has a guess of what may have been
added to the WW's to loose hardness like that.

Spent part of my day explaining toa lady that while yes, Preparation H does say it is for burning and itching the suppositories are not the best solution for dry skin or eczema.

Had to take boy to get new shoes. Size 13 now  keeps it up his shoe size is going to catch up to his age. So there went a $100 bill. So figured while I was out, and still had five bucks to my name. I would get a cassette tape to listen to in the truck. REM and the Ramones are the only cassettes I have. It is getting old.
Well did not have any.
So, browsing thru the table ware found 2 large English Pewter beer mugs. $1.09 each. Grabbed them up fast.
When I got rung up, the cashier said $1.15. I told her no.....but surprise! pink tag day! so I got them for 56 cents each.
Think I need to go play the lottery.

I spent a couple hours in the shop straightening up and putting stuff away. Clutter kinda annoys me, and SWMBO has stacked parcels atop my gunwork table to make certain I address their arrival.

All kinds of goodies arrived over the past week, some of which had slipped my mind from having ordered. I finally got tired of fighting the old RCBS H&I die (sizes .452") and got an actual Lyman die to replace it. RCBS H&I dies have a cut or step inside them to allegedly enhance lube distribution, but mostly it just hangs up bullet drive bands. It went to The Drawer Of Doom, where annoying tools await disposition.

The spare mags for the Tikka T3 also arrived, in an outsized box with about a metric tonne of packing debris. The mags were safe, that is a certainty. With padding and wrapping of this depth and breadth, the contents could withstand Armageddon capably.

40 S&W/10mm/45 ACP cartridge boxes arrived also. That project (1100+ of those rascals) will follow the 243 playtime. With the tabletop cleared, I can now see where various bullets fit with the Sinclair tool and prepped case, and get some ammunition loaded and tested.

To clarify further......some clutter (especially that which I cause) I can manage well. Other people's clutter.......not so much. It turned out that the "clutter" was just stuff I ordered that Marie hauled in from the porch and moved to my play area. It's still HER CLUTTER, at least until I open the parcels.

My loading area is strictly my clutter but holy cow, I have a ton of clutter. I have clutter on top of clutter.
I recently googled clutter and saw a photo of mine!

I'm nearly finished with the first stage of my OBS Bronco project. The original first stage was to replace the tires and wheels, the front bumper, belts and hoses, and catch up on some much needed service. Instead I got the front bumper off and found the radiator support mounting terminally rusted, so I ordered a radiator support, and took the original one out. Then I realized when I saw the front of the engine that it still had the original water pump on it, over 200,000 original miles. So I replaced it and learned about the Windsor engines water pump stud issues. A weekend project lasted many, many times longer than that. Some days it was too hot to work on, some days were too cold. Next comes a power window motor, then a tailgate over the winter. I'm doing this for enjoyment? Much more to do.

window motors are a piece of cake.
employ the cutters to the door metal and bend it out of the way then bend it back in place.

I gotta suck it up and get some pieces for my 89, but not too many more.
rear window switch, heater control switch, and cruise control are all that's left.
cruise ain't on the list, and the heater works on and off only,, so no rush.

looks like you got the same rust option I got when new.

Explorer sitting on the other side of the Bronco? I think I recognize those wheels!

And what is this Windsor water pump stud issue, of which you speak?
