Sounds like 462 lives in an area with too big of a population. Out here in the sticks where the County Seat has just over 5,000 people and the County has lost population since 1911, things are somewhat better. Helps ta beat hell when you recognize your pharmacist, banker, car dealer, etc. when you run into them as can say hi. First name basis with the Sheriff, Fire Chief, Town Board Chairman, and Town Patrolman. And we are recent immigrants having only moved here 17 years ago and are not related nor inter married with the locals. Heck, we know our neighbors here for several miles, something unheard of when we lived in Green Bay which had a metro region of over 200K when we left. When we are 5 miles or less from home we automatically wave at every pickup, car, and tractor because it is probably someone we should recognize.Sounds like 462 is using Walgreen's.
Population is not the problem, it's the overall lack of training and understanding of how to personally interact with those they are paid to serve. I blame it on the advent of the smart-phone -- communicating with ones thumbs -- has caused more than an entire generation to not be exposed to the social graces. Words like "please" and "thank you" no longer exist.Sounds like 462 lives in an area with too big of a population.
Being concerned about infection is not unreasonable by any stretch. You need to nip something like that in the bud. It's like a tick bite. I get one, I call my doc and get the 2 pack anti-biotic to be sure I'm good. I've only been bitten once, knocking on wood here. I've met too many people who are still suffering with the side effects of Lyme.So we are checking for possible infection. Another set of Xrays and more meds... Im 100% NOT a thro meds at it and see... But agreed ta try a anti inflammatory.
One of my major peeves; someone calls (happened yesterday), without announcing themselves says, "is this R.J.?" If they're really lucky and I'm feeling good, my response is, "that depends, who the hell is asking?" I have been known to just hang up. What the heck ever happened to the most common phone etiquette? Identify yourself before demanding info from the party you're calling.Population is not the problem, it's the overall lack of training and understanding of how to personally interact with those they are paid to serve. I disagree. With Caller ID nowadays, no real need to identify oneself as the caller.
