Well, it looks like today is going to be a shoveling day. We've got 8-9" of snow on the ground this morning and my wife has a meeting and a class to teach later today, so I've got to get the cars cleaned off and the driveway and sidewalks all shoveled clean. After that, I believe I will come inside, brew myself a pot of coffee, and treat myself to a little plumbo-stannic therapy and cast up a few bullets. Any suggestions?

If the wife HAS to go out I hope they have the roads in decent shape. Wishing her a safe trip, lot's of nut jobs on the road to be cautious of. Stay safe & warm.

GW has a good point, you likely need some beeswax/metal-salt treatments and a good session of nitro-aromatherapy to complete your man-spa day.

Is that a pretty scene or what! We hardly ever get snow like that here in Kansas anymore. Think I'll fire up the pot this afternoon and "sculpt" some 230 grainers for the 45.

Snow Wednesday , frain Thursday , Friday and Saturday wind all day Sunday and today looks like it will make 65 and sunshine .......... Don't get me wrong I like the sunshine and warm days but there's no snow on top of the 11,000 ft hill behind the house and we're just 60 milles from 6 Sierra Nevada mountain ski resorts that were open and now sporting frost over packed mud ......... If you want we'll be happy to take that snow off your hands .

So far, in KC we are OK, but it has been a good bit colder than normal
lately. No shoveling, but I need to get the belly mower off of the tractor
and install the blade. Winter's coming on. 300 yds of driveway and a 40x40
parking pad are way too much to shovel, and even the snowblower is a pain
for the pad, although it does well on the drive.

Not having to be anywhere on a snowy day is a BIG improvement, makes it
easier to enjoy the beauty of the snowy landscape if you are not REQUIRED
to do battle and defeat it rapidly, and then literally fight your way through the legions
of incompetent drivers to get somewhere.

We got about 5" of snow today. Great to sit out in the barn sizing bullets while the boys cleaned out the driveway!
