Had to do an annual qualification for my HR 218 retired officers carry authorization. First three rounds, take one step to your right, at the beep, draw and fire, you have three seconds. I wore my cheaters so I could see the front sight. Two in the bad guy's left eye one in the right, pupils gone. After the first mag the range officer scores the targets, walks up, looks, shakes his head, "Duke, Duke, Duke". Walks off to the next officer's target. 3 yards, 7 yards, 15 yards, 25 yards, malfunction drills, strong hand, weak hand etc. No dropped rounds. Glad I brought a rain jacket.
Came home hooked up with my regular fishin' partner. Weather went wonky on us. 63° when I shot, and hour later when we got down to the River it was 46° but we were going about 20 miles up north and by the time we launched it was 51° and partly cloudy and the wind had swung back from the South. Actually got pretty nice before the frontal system came through a little after 2:00pm with a radical wind switch and the white caps came rolling in. Got some really decent blue gills, a couple of yellow perch, and a big sheepshead that we kept.
Came home filleted the fish and sent my buddy home with them. He left about 2 hours ago and should just be getting home.
