Woke to 26F, inch of snow plus sleet/rain and THUNDER.
Reminds me of first time kids saw snow. Bundled them up, large section of indoor/outdoor carpet behind the 125 suzuki and towed them through the fields. They were laughing all the time, even when they took a tumble. Heard some rice burner trying to do donuts this morning. Nutty people.

At least an inch of sleet/snow on the ground. Twenty one degrees, out. Another round of wintery mix this afternoon. High today is 26 degrees. High of only 33* on Wednesday afternoon. Not much is going to melt.

Wednesday night into early Thursday, another bout of freezing rain possible. At least the high is exepcted to be 40 degrees.
Same for us.

Woke up to near 70° near Rockport, TX at 5:30 am. Out on the rental porch with a cup of coffee. Around 8am I saw some small black drum hanging around the pier pilings but they were spooky as all get out. A few minutes later a boat that had left a nearby property came back home and mere minutes after that the wind switched 90° or a tad more from SW toward the NW at 16 mph, and and hour later we have solid rain and white caps crashing the seawall below the house, 56°.

Here it is mid Febuary and today was 60 and sunny, so my wife and I went shooting at a range that I belong to a little south of Berkley Springs, West Virginia. Took four pistols and an AR. It was her first use of my S&W 14-4 6" that recently got back from a local gunsmith who transformed it from very nice to "Magic". I shoulda brought more 38 special ammo, but other guns needed shooting too. Its a nice date, shooting in the morning then lunch in town.

38* and pouring rain. Sure glad its not snow. Would be up to my well, you know where.....if this rain was all snow. High winds and Tstorm to follow this afternoon. Ah, the weather in Michigan. If you don't like it stick around for a while, it will surely get worse.

I had that much at 4 PM, it rained for another six or so hours. Ended up with 3.75 inches in gauge.

Then a round of severe weather, during the middle of the night. Weather Radio went off around 2PM with tornado warning for city of Salesville...................one mile south of me. Sirens went off shortly, thereafter. No official confirmed reports, yet. Only, received 3/10 inches in the rain gauge. Figured more, with all the lightning and thunder, still going on at 5 AM.
