What is your weather today?

My temperature comfort level starts to fad above 75. Yesterday's high of 97 was pretty unbearable, but today's high is 84, and coupled with the 5 mph on-shore breeze (absent yesterday), is not too uncomfortable.

We have had a beautiful summer but very hot for our summer also
Many days in the 90's and not much rain. I can get out early to do my garden chores but once the sun rises above the trees I retreat into the house and later into the cool basement! I started feeling sick when in the sun starting in 2010 ( after the first two bouts of Lyme) Rev War Re-enacting started killing me on the sunny fields especially since I was an officer! I had to be out there in front but the sun was taking it's toll!
But in 2013 I finally gave up my love for that hobby....But it never improved! Apparently from what I learned Multiple cases of Lyme messes with the Body's mechanism to control heat.
It sucks because I feel I miss out on so much nice weather

Cold front pushing through with T-storms. Heavy rains...we need the rain, just not all at once.

Locally, thunder and lightening are rarities, but we had a show that started at 2:20, this morning, and ended (temporarily) at 4:30, then, at 6:15 there were two or three big boomers, now radar says it's over. Rain was very minimal.

Heat from CA and NV pushing up, 103 to 105 for the next few days. Then the jet stream will push it back and cool off to the low 90's again.

It’s 98 degrees Fahrenheit here in Bremerton, Washington today! For us that’s uncomfortable. I was wondering what the record temp in my town was. Here is what I found.

“Bremerton
Record HI: 101°F
on August 10, 1981
Recorded at Bremerton”

Josh

Update: My son just ran up to me with his phone and showed me that it is now 99 degrees!

Today was the nicest day we've had in months. Way to nice to get anything done, just be outside and enjoy. 84 degrees, 30% humidity and bright sun, just lightest of a breeze. 30% humidity is almost unheard of here this time of year.

Got you beat, Rick -- 86 and 40% humidity. Another miserably hot day.

Not sure exactly its location, perhaps in the Laguna Seca vicinity, but there's a big brush fire East of me. Scrub oak, manzanita, ceanothus, lots of poison oak, that kind of country.

I grew up in Gilroy, and my mom grew up in Hollister! I know very well the country you speak of!

Gilroy, the self-proclaimed garlic capitol of the world. The air, there, can be quite pungent.
Hollister, sits atop the San Andreas Fault and has numerous, though unfelt, 'quakes everyday.

Day after day of beautiful weather in SW Wisconsin. Morning lows in the 50's afternoon highs in the 80's, a nice breeze. Gorgeous motorcycling weather.

Mother Macree.......had brunch with the usual Tuesday @ 10 A.M. cadre today in Highland, patio dining only to chase the COVID mangy critters away. We adjourned at 12:15, and Marie's Jeep showed 111*. No wonder we were melting. On our way home, it hit 114* in west Redlands, and was 113* at home in the south end of town. Thunderheads were boiling up over the mountains, and there has been some flash flooding scattered around the area. Some of the downpours are impressive, but they have passed us by so far.

Still in the throes of a heat wave. Though today's scheduled high is 81, it is 10 degrees higher than the seasonal normal. Can't wait till I can turn the calendar to November.

We were included in Sunday evening's rolling blackout. May be in another sometime today.

None of that here, yet. Third-World dictatorships like Kalifornistan have such events with frequency, I am surprised it is noteworthy enough to merit mention. Must be a slow news cycle.

It's started. Fall, leaves are starting to turn. Can get our first frost in late August. Last couple of years haven't had a freeze until mid September. Never know. Having get weather now though.
