The bay makes for mild, Baby Bear, year-round weather -- Summer is not hot, Winter is not cold.

We get hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico that tend to blow rain into our area, from time to time.
There's one in the Gulf right now that is dumping water on my deer lease south of Nacogdoches, right now.

Kinda mild for the last couple days here. Now is hottest part of the day, and its 89*. Lows in the mid-50s. There was ground fog southwest of us this morning, which is WAY WEIRD for this time of year. Still no thunderheads or dry lightning locally, nor any afternoon rainstorms. That should start any time now.

In the Panhandle of Florida it has been showers and thunder storms for a week off and on every day and is predicted to continue thus for another 5 to 6 days.
When it is not raining it is hot and humid. That and Covid 19 has kept me in the house.
I have been reading, fiction and non-fiction war books, gun magazines etc.

Hot and humid, not hot yet, but heading into the 90's. So humid you could cut the air with a knife. Ugh.

Been that way here also. Wouldn't be too bad except my gills don't seem to be working. :sigh:

We're a few miles from Popper.
It rained/sprinkled for about 2 hours at our house, but only about 0.10" in our rain gauge.
High today was 79, by my outdoor thermometer.
This is July, in Texas, right?

little rain mid-day and a high of about 72.
it rained hard enough last night to bend over the Pea plants and spread out the yarrow so I had to tie it up to a post.

Nice here today with temps about 75 and a NE breeze. New hatch of skeeters to remind you it is summer, wherever you go.
Nice avatar Lamar!

Low last night was 64, not too bad. High today was 104 with 16% humidity and not a cloud in the sky. Hot July day here, and for another few days till the jet stream moves south again. Would love to have some rain, none since .05 inches in May.

Not quite 100* today, supposed to hit 101* tomorrow. That "mild" temps thing from last week went elsewhere. We put out an ice chest full of bottled waters for the painters today, they went through about half of it--so we will re-stock them in the morning.

Hurricane cooled us off, random showers and lots of heavy scattered clouds keep the sun blast sufficiently interrupted for highs in the low 90s and lows in the 70s for the past week. This is normally the hottest part of the year fir us.

Weather broke here yesterday!! Was 93/95 about 15:00.... Walked out about 16:50 and it was 85!!! Odd day... Driving in yesterday 05:30 it was 81 degrees... This am, 66!!!! 29/30 days in a row over 90 here. Stifling heat index numbers to 110. I KNOW I FELT IT!!

Forcasting 90 again. But much reduced humidity. Feels like Maine. Heat with this low to no humidity
