It stayed cool here today, maybe 65* tops. High winds and low humidities are supposed to set in at 2 A.M. tonight and stay through Tuesday evening. Winds are predicted at 20-40 MPH, with gusts up to 70 MPH near passes. Tonight's low is allegedly 43*, and 39* Monday night. Supposed to warm back up to mid 80s daytime for the rest of the week. Livable.

Damp, very damp

48* currently.

Not raining yet, but it's a coming soon, for the next four days. :sigh: Haven't seen the sun for several days, either.

Well, the winds they promised arrived on schedule. A lot of the overcast has blown out, but not all of it yet. I think sweats might be in order for garage recreation today.

Sunny and clear, 72, and a 6 mph breeze. A perfect Fall day made better by the many long-legged, shorts-wearing young ladies.

We've been about 2 weeks late on a first frost this year. Got up this morning to sleet and freezing rain and wind, lasted nearly all day. Only got up to around 28 at 4:00 according to my truck. Spent part of the day huddled over the lead pot pouring 452-255rf. Tomorrow is supposed to be similar, maybe I'll switch to the 452-230TC mold.

Moderate rain and 39 degrees, currently. Suppose to last, most of the day. Same for Wednesday and Thursday. Don't think I'll be going out hunting, with the camera. :sigh: Shame, I expect the rut should start, any day.

We're at 40* and drizzle, right now.
A high of 44* today and rain today and tomorrow.
We need the rain, but overcast and rainy just puts me in the dumps!
I love the sun.

Hawk, we're in the exact same weather pattern. Had 6/10" of precipitation in the rain gauge at 5 PM, 2 1/2" at daybreak. Been getting light rain since. Haven't seen the sun, since midweek, last week. No sun in forecast till Friday. Rain the next two days.

52* outside right now (8:30 A.M.) with more winds predicted. Yesterday had dry gusty winds, and the requisite wildland fires predictably lit off. Both were in the Santa Ana River bottom (one each in Redlands and Riverside) where homeless encampments are concentrated.

Our high was 45 with enough of a breeze to melt off most of the snow. 30 minutes after sunset and its still 39.

All but the larger lakes froze over last night. I had to chop ice about an inch thick on one creek to retrieve a trap. All the dogs water dishes (2 gallon stainless) froze solid. Snowing now but suppose to get to 40 tomorrow.
