Hawk at least no ice storm here. Guess my hunt is called off, ice in Abilene.
Yup, he called, day trip Mon to get his water turned off and was sleeting when he left Ovila. Oh well, dove in the trees if not completely gone and hogs hunker down. Neither of us are into deer so maybe when dove opens up again.

Just got my October electric bill, and this year was the warmest October in 20 years, 58 average. Last year was the coldest at 48 average. Hope you could send us a little rain also, only had 0.4" since May.

Rain? Don't depend on the Central Coast. Northern and Southern California get more than my area. And, if the Acorn Theory holds true, we'll have only an average rainy season.

Well the 40 degrees made it today, along with a light rain, to turn the snow into slush. Centers of smaller lakes opened up again. What a difference 24 hours can make!

Accumulated 3" of rain, Monday & Tuesday, another 3 1/2 inches in the gauge this AM. More to come, today. Currently, a very fine mist and 51 degrees. Temperatures remained steady, during the night. Yesterday's high was 50 degrees.

Cold front blew out all the moisture, sunny and breezy today, actually back to fall weather again from winter, trees can't decide whether to bud iut or drop their leaves, most have just gone from green to brown.

Same here, morning started off a bit nippy. Thirty six with frost on the roof of garage. Light winds, all day. Made it to 57 degrees. Sun forecasted for the next ten days.
