I'm a little nervous about poking holes in the front receiver ring. Looked at Skinner already, didn't see much that will fit the tang. Their brass is HARD, not much chance I could bend a curve in it. Something that would be kind of neat is the Lyman #21, I might actually be able to make or modify an existing Winchester model to work. I'm not in love with it, but it would sure facilitate quick changes between bunny loads and deer loads. Keep the ideas coming, because after a little searching last night and this morning I'm coming up pretty empty on sights that will fit the rear receiver ring and mount on the tang.
This rifle has no cocking indicator on the tang and the safety is on the trigger guard, so all that is on the tang is two screw holes for the original Savage, Marbles, or Lyman folding peep sights.
