My revolvers have asked to not be photographed, they have developed a complex after seeing the beauties presented here.

All I own are a bunch of Rugers.

Sigh

Ruger 's out of the box aren't that impressive. Once well broken in they are good.

Once you complete the ibok upgrades and add an over travel stop they are second to none in my book. Referring to the stainless sp101, gp100, and SRH in particular. You would have to spend an awful lot to get something better imo.

That is unique. 44 Special? Trigger guard & grip frame look to be stainless. The ejector rod is the same length as the barrel.

A beautiful piece for sure.

Rick, that is a reclaimed Ruger 3 screw. I found the handgun in a pawnshop and the inside of the barrel and cylinder were badly pitted from using black powder and not doing a proper cleaning. I got it cheap ($120.00) due to the damage. I sent it to Ruger for a new barrel and cylinder and a reblue. I added a steel ejector rod housing and a stainless steel grip frame from a Ruger Old Army. The horn grips I got in a trade with Doc O'Meara. The caliber is the original 357 Magnum, which believe it or not, I prefer to a 44 Special. Ruger did convert it, but sent the original parts back and I reinstalled them and did a trigger job in my shop. It is a very good shooting and handling handgun.

She ain't pretty but man is she built like a tank. This gun eats about anything and with a 750 fps special load with a Keith bullet it is pleasant to shoot all day long.

That is a Weaver 2.5-8x. It took the place of a 2X Leupould. Rick suggested more magnification for group shooting at 100. I took this scope off my 309JDJ Contender barrel.

Ben, that is a huge if! The wobbles and bobbles are quite magnified. I can easily hold on a pop can but I can't get the can to sit still!
Rick keeps telling me it will take time, I know he is right. I just need to keep working at it and shoot 50 rounds or so each time I go to the range. Eventually this blind mouse will find a hunk of cheese.

Ok, the model 29 is a 44 mag, the K38 a 38 special?. The shiny shooter on top could be most anything??

Blackhawk on top has unfluted cylinder. Does that make it a 44 mag? I dunno.
