We ( my wife's favorite term when something needs to get done - translated to me) chopped down the tops of dormant bushes. Was pretty tired today so mostly rested. Dermatologist took a sample of the sore spot on the back of my neck.

Wanted to organize the jacketed bullet shelves. This last buy simply cannot fit and I made new shelves about a year ago and only filled them. Unorganized for caliber. So easy to miss what your looking for.

But as I was looking at the bigger mess on top of a cabinet. I realized it was a large waste of space. SO... I tore into it!! I had been piling 22&17RF there and well its getting worse. I also found a bunch of 16 & 12 Buckshot.

I visualized a few shelves there and far better organized storage with just a small easy build. Measured and figured lumber and tomorrow Ill go get it. Ill have them rip the width so it will be easy to handle and chop to lengths I need.

I also moved a three drawer "unit" I made forty years ago to under my powder magazines. Much better use of the space!

Only worry is this shelving unit will be on top of a steel cabinet. Probably quite a weight. Hope its able to handle it. It will be three shelves 36" wide. 30" tall so 10" between shelves.

THEN maybe the Jacketed bullets shelves. ;)

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Since it was sunny and warmer today I decide to go for my walk at our local "Lackawanna River Heritage Trail"
Lots of mallards on the water. Then I ran into this incredible beast! I saw him about 70 yard out and started stalking him so he would not get spooked!
Looked to be a small Shetland Pony! He was amazingly calm and did not run away!

Thats a Skandoohoovian Fruzernhersern, an endangered breed developed in the principality of Jhrtplmnakskivenon in 1827 by Crown Prince Ulaf Jorgonsonafawicz. They only breed when temps exceed 84F for more than 3 days in a row, hence very few were ever produced in their home lands. In fact, they don't even move if there's snow on the ground as you can well attest to! While that makes them extremely easy keepers, it does limit their utility as pack and draft animals. OTOH, they started the "yard ornament" craze which continues to this day!

CW, I can state quite conclusively and without worry of any contradiction or poo-pooing: you have more .22 LR ammunition than the totality I've seen in the entire county in the past 27 years.

you need to schedule some weekend help.

i rummaged through stuff that was where it wasn't supposed to be.
found 2 open bags of 1-1/2" self tapping rubber washered screws, and some 1/2" conduit clamps in a box with 4 cans of spray paint buried under some other stuff.
the paint got put on the shelf with the other 3 cans i bought to replace them.... yeah.
then i rummaged through some 20ga. stuff, got a bunch of wads sorted out and put the half bags in with the other half bags to make most of a bag, and got most of the hulls tossed together.

then made the mistake of looking in another box to find a couple of different types of 12 ga. shells mixed together, which wouldn't be so bad but i also found a box of them downstairs.
they both got left where they were.
i needed to go check the battery charger on the Bronco.
it only took like 3hrs on the trickle charger [at 2 amps] to fire up so i took it for a ride over to the grocery store so i could rummage through their cardboard boxes to make a cover for the grille, i decided to block off the bottom half and part of one side instead of the usual one side only.

tomorrow i'm going down to pokie to do a big grocery shopping extravaganza, it's gonna be mostly all canned goods and maybe some this and that depending on what the specials are.

I know Rick, and he must be older than me with a grandkid and all. Such a shame
