so waht ya doin today?

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Actually, that explains it pretty well & truthful.

Watched a totally avoidable 4 car accident unfold yesterday. Very greatful to have watched from 100ft away. The sound of crunching plastic between 3 gmc plastic mobiles & a Honda fakeout "truck" is unmistakable. The Honda lost on both ends.

They were out thick yesterday. Very glad my metal bumpers weren't involved.

When I wrote that I'd just come from church where one moron managed to darn near split the congregation in half over something I was totally unaware of, that didn't need to be brought up at all, and certainly not when we'd just lost a longtime member this morning and when we were all already upset over that, and in front of the kids and some first time visitors too. I know man is flawed and rather a dull animal, but for the love of God, I really don't know what possess some people to do the things they do! It's like they consider all options and then decide to take the one tht makes the least sense and can do the most damage. It's discouraging.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
Was out visiting Gbabies yesterday and went to TSC to pick up dog food. Wifey went in,me and shopdog checking out some cool early 20th century farm implements this,Powhatan Va tractor supply joint has "in their yard".

So killing time,we looked at their dog enclosures. Got to thinking we could use one, beats putting her in the laundry room while mowing N such. And other times when I'm wrenching on junk in the race shed?

So,here's the new Coco house. Lots of existing elements that needed to be considered. The wire comes in "panels". It'll end up round 6' high. The house design is "borrowed" from add on,dog house style gas chimneys used on sided houses round here.

The wire tops out at the peak of her roof. Fenced will be 8'X16'.... with the house extended outside that perimeter. Race shed has a 5 member cornice(with 5" crown/ 3 1/2" beaded cove).... Coco gets a pce of beaded frieze and 4" crown, contour blocks to kill it on the ends, and a metal roof. Rock wall is existing so will carry that over to her foundation piers ( rocks are free round here).View attachment 8672

But no porch, right?

What is that brown grainy looking thing I see under those RCBS boxes? Whatever it is it looks awful large and free of clutter.
Either you have too much free time or you are seriously short on reloading crap.

Ian, he just doesn’t have a clue. He spent money on new gear. If he bought a lathe think of how much he would have saved?
And spending time cleaning? Why put stuff away, with a lathe you just make another one.

And all those empty grey bins?

I believe we have a poser amongst us. A complete fraud. No caster in his right mind has empty anything. Or a clean bench.

Wait a second, does Oregon allow recreational herbs? :headscratch:

The polite term is “stuff”.

I am quite certain the membership can help with some other terms. I will start with crap. And lots of it.

Considering the beating Waco is taking, about his clutter-free bench, it would be un-wise for me to post a picture of my two benches.

Don't let them get to you, Waco, a clutter-free bench is a clutter-free, clear and right-thinking mind.

I'm gonna get a Ping (golf) hat.......seriously.

When folks ask,"you play golf"?

"Nope,it's the resonated sound through the stock of a tuned cast bullet rifle".

I have a clean bench downstairs.
probably cause I ain't used it yet, I should be moving the annealer, and tumblers down there pretty soon though so I can use the bench in the shop [in front of the only window in there] to start the garden seeds.

when I build a dog run to keep dogs 'IN' I build it from chain link fence 8' high, sink the posts in 2', cross brace the corner posts and pull the link tight on the bottom half.
I leave the top of the fence loose so if the dog tries to climb it, it rolls back over on them.
I also run 2 pieces of wire/cable above the fence so they can't just jump it.

Cast up some pesky Lee 200gr RNFP bullets the other night. .428" as cast. That's okay. Two coats of PC got them to were a .432" die just skims them.
10gr of Unique and I'll add these to the list of stuff to shoot in the Marlin this next weekend to dial in the new Skinner sights.

That's about a 2000 mile walk, so they'll be hungry for sure when they get there.
