With things stalled probably until the spring I've doowwnn sized and set up a temporary useable band-aid bench for the already udersized space to get the tools out of wet .
It has a 44" "desk" top on a 72×36 . The top is 12" deep with 24" underneath . The die shelves are 8" . The top shelf and top are 12&12 1/2" . The top bottom shelf is only 16" .
2 sheets of 3/4 ×4×6 and 1 sheet of 1/2 ×4×8 . The 1/2" makes the back solid . There's a guy that sells seconds and defects here for $8 for the short 3/4" and $12 for the full 1/2 .
The desk top is a scrap 1/3 sheet of 1 1/4" French flooring 44×27 1/2 "
Comes to about $40 and 6hrs of lay out , cut , and assembly . It's pretty rigid as is but I think I will have to put a 1×4 facer under the desk top and another on the bottom-top shelf .
