Ian,
Good diet news, sad vision news. I can surely sympathize with the prospect of having to learn to shoot from the wrong side. For the several months that I was forced to do so, I had to completely cover my dominate eye, or it would try to force itself onto the sights. My brain has so many other disabilities and shortcomings that that was just too much to overcome. I wish you the best.
Waco,
Interest rates are as low as I've seen them in my adult lifetime. Shop your local banks, you might be pleasantly surprised. I've never been in a position to have to, but re-financing your home may be a way to payoff outstanding debt and buy the property. Where there's a will, there's a way.
Back in '95, my wife and I paid $25,000 for 2 acres of Western Montana property, and thought it was a bargain.
You'd need to kill a lot of deer and elk, to feed those 40 archers.
I hope you can swing it.
