What is your weather today?

It has been rainy off and on for the past week, but most of the rain/snow volume seems to be north of us here in Redlands. My earlier advice about 10% substance/90% BS is accurate enough for government work.

Mostly just clouds east of the Cascades here in the North as the storms hit Northern CA. As they slide up here, the moist air just condenses into clouds and fog.

About 0830 this morning an errant cloud blew over the house and dumped its contents.
Are these what snow drifts looks like?

"OK, OK, I'm going as fast as I don't want to go!"
My house was in a mote. Not the first time I've seen this in the 20 years I've lived here.

The plant by the bricks is jade, those on the deck are cymbidium orchards (new buds starting to show) and a sword fern, and are those colors year round.

seen it for about 30 minutes today.
i think it's just so low in the southern sky it was bouncing in from arizona.

i really like that Jade plant.
it wouldn't make it through a summer here though, which is too bad it'd make a real nice addition to the lower garden.

Windy, rainy, chilly (upper 30s). Weather guessers are predicting some snow showers over the next 2 hours. Oh, by the way... Windy.

nice friendly tornado warning this morning. Fortunately, nothing panned out...

and from a Buddy of mine: "...don't you just love North Alabama weather? Over 60 and rain today, below freezing and snow tomorrow, then 70 next week." Posted pre-tornado warning, so he didn't capture that

29°calm winds, blacker'n a coal sack outside. Nice little popple fire in the wood stove, buttermilk biscuits in the oven with 8 minutes to go to golden brown. Butter and strawberry balsamic jam for the first one, and a sausage patty a little later, good cuppa coffee on the arm rest of the Lazy-Boy. I'm so happy, why I could just bust.

Happens to be 29 degrees, here. However, winds are currently out of the NW at 9 mph. Bowl of Cheerios (Monday - Friday) fare, while coffee brews. Couple of homemade peanut butter cookies to go with the joe. Sitting at the kitchen table using the laptop.
