I'm back at it, yes. Monday was the first day I didn't think about me neck one time all day until nearly bedtime. Tuesday was good until I lifted that head off and I've been puffy/swollen ever since and keep swallowing involuntarily because it feels like a large marshmallow is lodged in my throat. Same thing happened over a week ago when I strained it picking up something heavy.
I took a new toy out tonight to see how it shot. I can no longer shoot a compound bow because of physical problems. AND I REALLY MISS BOW HUNTING. So after about 7 years of only rifle hunting. I decided to jump back into bow hunting with a crossbow.
I started shooting at 5 yards to make sure i didn't loose any arrows and make sure the scope was close to being sighted in. I progresavly went to 30 yards while only shooting 50 arrows. No 5 shot group was over 2", an i already have lost 1 knock from being hit by another arrow.
I AM BACK INTO BOW HUNTING!!!!!!! Whoopy.

I bought a Mission 310 a few years ago, got a couple does with it, but don't hunt it much. It's got a mile of creep to the trigger with no warning of when it's finally going to let off. The Hawke scope that came on it is calibrated fairly well to 40 yards, but with all the creep I don't trust my trigger control when excited over a deer. They recommend changing the string every 100 shots and now there isn't a dealer closer than 100 miles.
