I see some up in Oklahoma are getting flooded pretty good.
the way the wind is going here we probably have another storm coming through shortly, there is a little bit of snow on the higher peaks that's hanging on waiting for more to come.

I took Littlegirl and the G-kid out grouse hunting last night.
we managed to get our limit even sharing Baby duty's and one shot gun between us.

No rain here, going on 2 1/2 weeks. Highs have been in the upper 80's with lows in the lower 70's. Been irrigating the food plot, every other day. Fifty percent chance of scattered PM thunderstorms today and 80% tomorrow. Ain't holding my breath.

I've become convinced today that a direct relationship exists between continual dealings with insurance companies & suicide rates. I'm to darn stubborn for that, but am convinced the relationship must exist. :headbang:

Yeahhhh. It take a special kind to deal with the insurance adjusters, the kind that isn't right to begin with.

The RV'rs often have "aftermarket warranties", another term for the game of suckers and chumps. I don't play. My answer is yes, we do the work. If your warranty company covers some of it, great, but you're responsible for the difference, and it will be fixed RIGHT, on MY terms, at MY discretion, or you can take it somewhere else. If I have to spend the hours on the phone fighting with them to approve the repair, I am billing for every minute, at a rate of $125 per hour. Or YOU can do the calling and still pay me the difference on the repair, because I don't sit on the phone for free dealing with snakes and I don't work for $30 and hour and allow the bean counters to dictate the brands of parts I use.

Try dealing with an insurance company that is also a govt agency, Medicare. They aren’t motivated by greed, just by paperwork and a need to show how important they are thru bureaucracy.
At least once a day I tell someone that no, it doesn’t make sense. Not supposed to make sense, it is insurance. I gave up years ago trying to make sense of it all, I don’t need that headache anymore.

Not really? A pill mill is not a favorable term when it comes to pharmacy. In this era of opioid overdoses and abuse I prefer to not be associated with the pill mills. Ask Williamsburg, WV.

The pill is the pharmacy. The mill is your new toy. The two are not connected except the pill guy is operating the mill. Hhmmm, no wait, that don't work either. Gotta think about this for a minute.

And a couple of doctors who made major bank getting people hooked and keeping them hooked.
We feel the ramifications at work daily. Until doctors learn to say no it won’t change.
We are going to need some massive efforts to get people into rehab and off the stuff. This won’t be easy to fix and it won’t be cheap. Gonna take some honest, frank discussions at many levels.

There are doctors there that belong in prison where they can spend their money at the prison commissary.

To be totally honest there are pharmacies, pharmacists, and drug wholesalers who own some of the blame too.
The medical system got caught thinking like business men, not health care are providers.

Took a few decades to get into this mess, will take at least that long to get out of it.
